hold me now, don't start shaking

what ever happened to adults conquering their passions?

it seems as if only youth is indomitable, insuperable, against the thought of failure.

i like that feeling. the feeling of adolescence. the feeling of having copious amounts of time to achieve whatever my little heart desires.

however, i might be omitting the current election candidates. thoughts?

I agree...although I feel like I only felt that way in high school. While much freedom is gained in college, time slips away so much faster. It makes me sad that I don't have the time right now to lay in the grass.

i agree with you! i think that kids dream more, and want to change the world, and make it better. but when we grow up, all of that creativity dies. and a lot of us lose that liberalism that we once had.
sometimes i'd rather have childish ambitions than "grown up" or realistic ambitions.

Time's always seemed better spent dreaming of the future than focusing on the present. The detrimental aspect is so trivial compared to the instantaneous effect that a fulfilling future (or the hopes of such) brings.
